What Are The Mental Health Benefits of Reiki?

We live in a world that is often hectic, and sometimes downright chaotic, causing us to experience feelings of stress, anxiety, and depression. Taking time out for a Reiki session provides a healing balm for the frazzled feelings that accompany our fast-paced lives.

While mental health counseling is a mostly linear process; Reiki is a complementary, non-linear, process. Every Reiki session begins with an invocation to our angels and guides to provide the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical healing we need not only in the present lifetime, but past and future lifetimes as well.

Each Reiki session is unique, but it is common for clients to report seeing flashes of light, swirling colors or images, feeling sensations of warmth, coolness, and energy moving through the body, having dreams, visions and out-of-body experiences, and sensing the presence of angels and guides.
