About Laura Durrant
Laura Durrant, LCSW, is a Psychotherapist, Reiki Master, Channeler, and Near-Death Experiencer. She is a Light Worker and Way-Shower who offers both spiritual and practical wisdom to her clients. Laura honors the divine nature of the individuals she counsels, and encourages and supports them on their unique paths.
Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Health from the University of Utah. Laura is a Level III Reiki Master, has studied channeling with a world renowned channeling teacher, and had a near-death experience (“NDE”) following open-heart surgery.
Over the course of her career Laura has counseled sexual assault survivors, abused and neglected children and their parents, physically disabled children and their parents, developmentally delayed individuals with mental illness, birth mothers and adoptive families, severely and persistently mentally ill adults, male and female inmates, refugees and asylum seekers, and victims of torture and trauma.
Laura’s current practice areas include: Personal and Spiritual Growth, Support for Religious Questioning, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Women’s Issues, Life Transitions, Depression and Anxiety.
As the Mystic Mix Integrative Wellness Director Specializing in Counseling, Laura looks forward to counseling other Light Workers who are, like she is, wise spirits living in challenging times.
