What’s in your body products?

Do you know what’s in your body products? Most women lather their bodies with low quality, yet expensive products in hopes for more radiant and healthy skin. What they don’t realize is that by using these kinds of products they are actually damaging their skin causing it to be less radiant.

Your skin is your body’s largest organ and eliminatory channel, making it your most important immune defense barrier. Most commercial and even some “natural” body products contain harmful ingredients that clog your pores, which makes germs more likely to get in and toxins less likely to get out. We are bombarded by chemicals and toxins on a daily basis, so we must honor and appreciate our bodies by using therapeutic grade products.

Ingredients to stay away from:

Synthetic fragrances: they can contain as many as 200 ingredients.

Synthetic colors: they have cancer causing agents.

Petrolatum: a byproduct of gasoline production.

Methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben: used as inhibitors of bacterial growth and to extend the shelf life of products. They also result in a lot of skin rashes and allergic reactions.

Imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea: these are the most commonly used preservatives after parabens. The main ingredient is formaldehyde, which is used to preserve dead bodies.

These are just a few of the hundreds of toxic ingredients to stay away from! After years of researching the cleanest products that are available on the market today, I realized how unclean they actually were. That is why I decided to start creating my own home and body products. Now I have total confidence in what I am lathering on my children’s bodies, because I made their body serums with organic and therapeutic grade ingredients.
